My goal is to provide you with expert, caring and candid advice throughout the process and answer any questions you may have.

Because real estate is my passion. I fell in love with real estate long before I decided to make it a career. One of my favorite pastimes that I still enjoy to this day, is driving around neighborhoods admiring beautifully structured homes, young and old. I visit new builds and model homes all across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley, cultivating relationships with builders and sales agents. I have the inside scoop on current and upcoming neighborhoods.

Because there’s no cost to use me. My fees are paid by the seller.

Because you will be my priority. As your buyer’s agent, I have a fiduciary duty to promote your best interest with the utmost good faith and loyalty while protecting your confidences. My clients always come first.  You will have direct access to me, and I will be available to you.

Because I will be honest with you. One would say that I am an over communicator, and I don’t shy away from difficult conversations. I am dedicated to being transparent and honest with you throughout the entire process even if it means telling you what you may not want to hear.

Because as a homeowner myself, I was twice where you are. Not only do I understand the entire process of buying a home from the buyer’s point of view, but I also understand how important it is to have someone on your side who represents you and has your best interest at heart.

From your initial inquiry, I take the time to learn what is important to you in your dream home.  I go over your wants and needs, locations and timeline, and I focus on asking the right questions such as: What do you envision your neighborhood to look like? Do you prefer an HOA or not? Do you have a particular school district in mind? How long of a commute would you like to have? Then during our follow up, I walk you through the buyer process with a customized buyer presentation that includes viable options that meet those criteria.

Finding the right real estate agent to assist you with the home buying process is key! Call me and let me help you with next steps

Finances

I can refer you to a mortgage lender that will assist you with determining how much house you can afford and getting you pre-approved.

House Hunting

The fun part! Once pre-approved, I will show you several homes that meet your budget and criteria

Offer

Once you choose your home, I prepare the offer and skillfully negotiate on your behalf, to get you the best bargain possible.

Inspection

Address any hidden issues in the home with the seller.

Appraisal

This gives the current value of the property and ensures that it is worth the price you are prepared to pay.

Walkthrough

I will accompany you to a final walkthrough of the home to confirm that the seller made all the repairs you requested and cleaned out the property.

Closing Date

Also known as signing day! You’ll be signing lots of paperwork including the deed of trust, promissory note, and other loan documents. I will be right there with you!

New Construction

Most buyers are under the impression that a realtor is not needed when purchasing a newly constructed home, but this couldn’t be further from the truth!

When you arrive at the model home in a new construction development you will likely be greeted by a welcoming salesperson who is there to represent the builder. These salespersons are great at what they do and are very knowledgeable in their field but again, they represent the builder, not you.
